It has been brought up that we should scrap our forced promotions rule for the minor leagues. The forced promotion for the DL WILL remain. Starting this year if you had a player on a major league deal and was over the AB/IP limits you were forced to call him up. After seeing this in action would you like to keep this rule, or scrap it and go back to how it was the first two years of the league where if a guy was in your minor leagues you were never forced to call him up upon his real life call up know matter what his contract status and eligibility was.

Clarification before I vote. In 2015, if a team's minor leaguer goes over the limits, you would still have to move him to your major league roster or cut him prior to the 2016 season, right? Or would voting to change mean a team could keep someone in their minors for as long as they want.

Ooops, maybe I misread this. Does this only apply to guys we promoted to the majors, who then were demoted to the minors in real life, at which time we demoted but who were later recalled in real life. Oh dang, now I'm confusing myself. Maybe I am addled due to all the hurricane talk here in SC.

Wayne...this is only for guys that are on major league deals in DOBL(and not over the AB/IP limits). Example...You have BJ Upton. He gets sent down, so you send him down. When/If he gets called back up should you have to call him back up? The first two years you didn't. Last year you did. That was one example. One with regards to a more younger player would be that you called up one of your minor leaguers. He gets some ABs or IPs. You send him back down when after he is sent back down. He ends up a September call up and eventually goes over the AB/IP limit. Should you be forced to call him up to your major league roster.
To further clarify. If the player is UNDER the AB/IP limits he can stay on your minor league roster no matter what even if he is on a major league contract in DOBL.
